Left JI to attend Columbia College.
Came back to Charleston to help lead SAVE THE MALES for The Citadel.
In 1995-1996 I was the SC Political Director for Bob Dole for President and then Elizabeth Dole's Asst Press Sect during the presidential campaign.
Worked on various SC campaigns until 1999 when I moved to Savannah as the Director of Development for the GA Historical Society.
Went back to school in 2000 and got a degree in computer networking and met my husband in 2001.
We married in 2002 and I went to work for Congressman Jack Kingston both in Savannah and on the Hill. We started our family with Ellie in April 2005 and Sarah Mason in 2007 and hopefully will finish it with a baby in 2009. Kirk did back to back tours in Iraq and didn't meet Sarah Mason until she was six months old.
I've been active with local, state and the national Miss America Organization serving on several boards and as a certified judge.
I love doing event planning and have done too many political events to count, about a dozen weddings, countless baby and wedding showers and two other high school reunions for friends in GA.
I started LowCountryYardSales.com in March and moved for the fourth time in five years to Belleville, IL (about 15 minutes east of St. Louis, MO).
I'm a HUGE NASCAR fan (Go JR!) I miss Charleston with a passion, but know one day I will be home there again.
I am still walking daily with Jesus and am blessed with peace and joy beyond what I deserve! |
